Speed up Internet Explorer by
tweaking maximum connections.
1. Click Start – Run – type “regedit” and press Enter
2. Navigate to the following Registry Key
[HKEY_CURRRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings]

(Add MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server DWORD)
--------------------------------------------------------
Add a new DWORD by right-click in the right-pane – select “New” –
“DWORD”
Name the DWORD key as[ MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server ] and value in
decimal as “6″ to set internet explorers number of maximum
connections to “6″ [default is 4]

Add maxConnectionsPerServer DWORD
-------------------------------------------------------
Add a new DWORD by right-click in the right-pane – select “New” –
“DWORD”
Name the DWORD key as [ maxConnectionsPerServer ] and value in
decimal as “6″ to set internet explorers number of maximum
connections to “6″ [default is 2]

This sets the values for the maximum connections for Internet
Explorer and maximum connections per web server.
Now, close the Windows Registry Editor and open an Internet Explorer
